PlayGroup
Parents, caregivers, & children, join us for a FREE interactive group that provides: Kindergarten readiness activities; tools to build your support network; learning about local resources; and opportunities to collaborate with others! Specifically held for children birth through
pre-K. You do not have to be a member of the church to attend, there will be no religious aspects directly scheduled into the group.

What to Expect
Each playgroup will have read, play, art, and rhyme activities that support kindergarten readiness and can be adapted to your child’s ability.

Each month, a theme, such as animals, outdoors, or colors, will support our learning. Monthly themes will be adjusted based on the interest of participants.
​
Snacks and water will be provided for each group. Please let us know how we can accommodate your dietary needs.
Typical Schedule
10:00 - Welcome and free play at stations
10:20 - Circle time, welcome song, focus of the day
10:50 - Craft or group activity
11:30 - Free play, snack, resource sharing
11:50 - Clean up and good-bye song
Relax & Be Comfortable
Children are at different levels of learning and focusing. We welcome children to play
during circle time if they wish. We don’t mind children sharing their thoughts during
our discussions. We would love for each child and parent/caregiver to be comfortable.
Although the group has a schedule, it is not strictly followed. Children lead the way in our time together. Feel free to come and go as you wish. You will never be seen as late for the group, and we want you to come, even if it’s just for a bit.
